Xero has announced a suite of new AI-powered features designed to help businesses get paid faster and reduce administrative burden.
The new capabilities, rolling out to all users over the coming months, include:
Intelligent Payment Prediction
The system now predicts when invoices are likely to be paid based on customer history and industry patterns. This helps businesses forecast cash flow more accurately.
Automated Follow-up Suggestions
Rather than generic reminders, the AI suggests personalized follow-up messages based on the customer relationship and payment history.
Smart Categorization
Expenses and income are automatically categorized with improved accuracy, reducing manual bookkeeping work.
"We are committed to using AI in ways that genuinely help small businesses save time and improve their financial health," said a Xero spokesperson.
The features are available to all Xero subscribers at no additional cost.
